According to the note, the road has only been restored temporarily and does not yet meet the ideal safety conditions, remaining vulnerable until additional interventions can be carried out. CMB stresses that further stabilization and structural improvement work will be needed to guarantee safe and definitive access to that area.

The Mayor, Amândio Semedo de Brito, assures that he will continue to closely monitor the evolution of the situation, in conjunction with the competent authorities, so that the next actions can be planned and carried out as soon as possible. The aim, the statement stresses, is to ensure the "full safety of all users" who depend on that road.

The municipality would also like to thank the public for their understanding and calls for strict compliance with the safety recommendations, stressing that caution is essential while the work needed to fully normalize access is taking place.

The reopening, albeit provisional, represents an important relief for the residents of Fajã de Água, who have been facing constraints due to the blockage of the road, but the municipality emphasizes that the situation remains delicate and requires extra attention.
